Tidung Lagoon is a breathtaking retreat located 44 km NW of Jakarta in Thousand Islands, and it is 1.5 hours by speedboat. It features 16 uniquely designed rooms, offering a comfortable stay. All rooms are ocean view. The price includes breakfast and lunch, coffee/tea, guide, snorkeling, banana boat, canoe but EXCLUDE transportation. While it's not a 5-star facility, we offer the nightly spectacle moon and stars. The space Our property has both a north and south beach—each with its own unique charm in every season. Both beaches are absolutely stunning and covered with white sand. Guests of Grand Lagoon are allowed to enjoy the facilities at Tidung Lagoon. It is located on the east side of the island and is built above the ocean floor. If you walk east, you will pass through Lover Bridge, and on the north side of the beach, you will see Tidung Lagoon Resort. There are 18 rooms available, and all rooms face the ocean with a panoramic view of the island. Every room has its own toilet and amenities and can accommodate up to 4 people. You will have your own private room and will NOT be shared with others. A white sandy beach is right in front of your rooms, where you can relax all day while watching the sunrise and sunset. Remember, your time is valuable. Make sure you set aside time to explore the island, such as visiting the sperm whale museum, mangrove conservation area, dragon fruit plantations, coconut fields, coral reef conservation area, turtle conservation center, walking across the 700m Lover Bridge, fish cultivation area, and many more attractions within the island. Our location, situated away from the island’s residential areas, offers a peaceful and secluded environment, making it the perfect destination for couples, families, or groups looking for a serene and exclusive retreat. However, you can still explore the island by renting a motorcycle or bicycle. Guest access Our facility has two beaches (North side and South side) and depending on the season, each beaches offers a uniquely difference atmosfer. You can walk along the beach all the way to west until to reach the far west of the island. Or else you can just enjoy these private beaches. You will certainly enjoy our night lighting over the trees and beachfront. You can ask for our staff to start a bonfire. It will be enjoyable to sit and chit-chat with friends by the beach bent facing the bonfire. You can also explorer our neighbor 'warung' where you can enjoy local coconut. It is on the northside of our location. For next day lunch, you can try to walk to the village for a local delicacy - not much but worth trying. We recommend that you explorer all the way to the west of the island and cross the lover bridge to Tidung Besar. If you don't walk to talk to far, you have the option of renting bicycle (Rp. 20.000/day) or motorcycle (Rp. 150.000/day) to cruise around the island. Please ask our staff to assist you. Other things to note Our Airbnb prices cover accommodation, two meals (lunch and breakfast), unlimited quality coffee and tea, mineral water, a local guide, taxes, and service fees. The only additional cost (which is excluded in the price) is for a round-trip speedboat ticket from Marina Ancol (approximately USD 19/person or Rp. 320,000/person) or from Muara Angke (about USD 11 or Rp. 180,000/person) to Tidung Island. We can assist with purchasing the ticket after your booking. Boats depart daily at 8 AM (there are no departures after that) and return from the island around 3 PM. The speedboat takes about 1.5 hours, while the ferry takes around 2.5 hours. If you need help with getting to the harbors or buying the speedboat ticket, we’re here to guide you. Tickets can usually be purchased on-site or online, with Marina Ancol often being the more convenient option.
