Our house is perfectly situated on the Hook Peninsula, between the village of Fethard-On-Sea & our beautiful beaches of Baginbun & Carnivan. Walk less than 10 mins to the beach or village with award winning Gastro Pubs, Restaurants, Cafes, Shops, Take-Aways, Activity Centre & Tourist Office. Our house has a private garden with spectacular uninterrupted seaviews and a shared common green area. We live close by and can help with any local information you might need to enhance your stay! The space Our guests love our home as I’ve made it as cosy and comfortable as possible. As a I love cooking, I have the kitchen fully stocked with the essentials for cooking and baking. We have WiFi, a Smart TV and a varied library for adults and kids! We have some board games and cards available too. Guest access We have a lovely wooden deck with a built in bench and table with sea views for our guests to use. We often used this for sheltered, sunny brunches! Other things to note Within a 10 minute drive is the Hook Lighthouse, Loftus Hall, Tintern Abbey, Tintern Trails, & Colclough Walled Gardens. Within 20 minutes is the famous Kennedy Homestead, JFK Arboretum, Dunbrody Abbey, The Maze at Dunbrody Abbey Visitor Centre. A 30 minute drive will take you to the Historic town of New Ross, Dunbrody Famine Ship & Irish Emigrant Experience or drive to the Viking Town Wexford or in the other direction across the ferry from Ballyhack to Passage Waterford City.
