St Clements Cottage

St Clements Cottage is a charming cabin situated on the picturesque Butterfactory Lane, approximately nine kilometres from Oberon town centre. It is set amongst six acres of a family owned property where stunning English gardens meet rustic tablelands countryside. About two and a half hours from Sydney, the Jenolan Caves, Mayfield Gardens and the historical town of Hartley are all within a short driving distance of St Clements Cottage. The space It is the ideal lodging for one to two couples who are exploring the area or in need of accommodation whilst attending a local wedding or event. Located next to the main farm house, it is a well presented and quaint cottage that caters for modern comfort, is environmentally efficient and well insulated. You will find it to be cool in summer and warm in the typically cold Oberon winter season. The sizeable queen bedroom features a heated towel rail and electric blanket. A slow combustion fireplace warms the open plan living area, the bathroom is freshly renovated and the kitchenette is fully equipped with a microwave, kettle and toaster. The front porch is the perfect setting for a morning cuppa. Fresh towels, linen and hot water bottles are provided. There is a plentiful supply of firewood and there are flyscreens on all windows and the front door. Breakfast provisions including toast, & yoghurt, eggs ,coffee, tea & juice are provided. Take a stroll around the tranquil surroundings, listen to the bubbling brooks and the neighbouring cattle, admire the cool climate organic vegetable garden, catch a glimpse of the resident platypus in the creek, breathe in the crisp country air and take in the magnificent sunsets over the rolling hills. Guest access Guests are welcome to explore and enjoy the outdoor grounds of the property. There is free on-site parking. Other things to note We do not wish to accommodate children under 12 due to the presence of open dams.
