Description

Our cabin is the perfect lakefront escape from which you can discover Lake Atitlan. We offer breathtaking volcano views, a garden, and access to free kayaks for exploring the lake. It’s the ideal retreat to relax, disconnect, and enjoy nature in one of Guatemala’s most beautiful destinations. We have a garden with hammocks and tropical plants that you can enjoy during your stay, a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable rooms to rest. The space Our cabin is in Tzununa, a village between San Marcos la Laguna and Santa Cruz la Laguna. Access to the house IS ONLY BY BOAT (public or private). The cabin has the following areas: Kitchen: equipped with refrigerator, electric stove, blender, toaster oven, plates, glasses, cutlery, cooking and serving utensils. Living Room: you will have board games, books, and a space to share. Rooms: All beds are equipped with sheets, pillows, ponchos, quilts, body towels, and furniture to place your bags. Bathroom: equipped with shower with hot water and hygiene implements. Garden: you will find chairs to rest and sunbathe, an area for bonfires, and another for barbecues and barbecues. The cabin's front door takes you to the pier and the beach. You can sunbathe, play, and enjoy the lake and kayaks in these areas. Guest access As our guest, you will have access to all the property. Other things to note Tzununa is a rural community where different holistic companies have been established. From the cabin, you can take a walk to San Marcos la Laguna, where you will find a variety of gastronomy and activities. If you want to visit the different towns around the lake, you can take a boat from the cabin's dock. The best way to get to Tzununá is via Panajachel, where you can park your vehicle and board a boat to take you to the cabin dock. (The boat has an extra cost) In Tzununa, there are no large stores to buy food or drinks, so you must bring everything you need. If you forget something for your stay, you can buy it in Panajachel, where there are two well-stocked supermarkets. The cabin is located in a rural area of the country, so the water and electricity services may fail. The cabin has a water tank and a portable gas stove, which will be helpful in case the public service fails. The area around the cabin are coffee fields, allowing wiled life to live near our house. Probably, you will see squirrels, butterflies, birds, and other insects typical of Guatemala. The purpose of the house is to disconnect from the world. For this, we do not have television.
