Guest cottage in quiet neighborhood. Our home and detached guest cottage sit on 1 acre of land, 2nd floor guest cottage, 950 sq ft of space; bedroom w/walk in closet, living & dining area, full bath & kitchen, screened patio, canal view. Well-lit driveway parking and entry. 2 miles to I-95. 3 miles to trendy downtown Atlantic Ave with shops, restaurants, galleries. 3.8 miles to beach. The closest major intersection is Lake Ida Road and Congress Avenue. $6-7 Uber to downtown Delray Beach. The space Just a few steps from convenient well lit designated parking in driveway will lead you to a gated entrance that will lead to private exterior staircase to 2nd story guest cottage entrance. Ideal for 1 person or 1 couple max, as there is only 1 bed. There is a couch, but it is NOT a pullout, nor is the couch meant to be slept on by a guest overnight, a rollaway bed is NOT offered. Not suitable for infants/toddlers/children. As noted in this listing description, the cottage space is on a 2nd floor. The cottage is a self-standing/detached building structure. The area leading to stairway to the cottage is fenced in. Underneath the cottage is a garage as well as a finished storage room. In the garage is some equipment for our business; waterproofing & caulking specialists. Periodically staff come at the beginning or end of work day to pick/up drop of equipment/material, but not on a daily basis. During Hurricane season or if inclement weather, don't fret as we have a large generator to power the guest cottage, as well as high impact windows. The guest cottage consists of a living room, dining room, bedroom, full bath and kitchen, and screened in patio. The living room has large plush sectional couch, large flat screen TV, and ceiling fan. The dining room seats 4. The kitchen is a full kitchen with full size frig, dishwasher, stove/oven. The bedroom has a queen size bed, dresser, ceiling fan, and walk in closet. A washer and dryer set is in guest cottage. Wi-Fi is available throughout cottage. Hardwood flooring, granite countertops. The guest cottage is a completely private/separate space detached from our home. The home is on a private road, each home being on at least a 1 acre lot, just 26 homes on this unique private road, a peaceful private neighborhood, lots of trees, nature, with quiet neighbors. The backyard backs up to a fresh water canal. There is a great breeze and view of a canal from this 2nd story patio. Watch the wildlife and occasional fisherman, jet-skiers and/or water-skiers. The guest cottage has air conditioning and heat, and a lot of living space, the bedroom has lots of drawers/closet storage. Perfect for all kinds of vacationers, corporate & business traveler’s short or long term. Come stay a while! Guests will be provided with a key to the guest cottage, come and go as you please; it’s your own private exclusive space! Guest access Entire guest cottage and screened in patio is yours to enjoy! Other things to note CHECK IN Check in is between 4-9pm. I offer a contactless self-check (exterior wall mounted lock box w/key) in if that is a guest's preference, if arriving after check in time, or if I am not available (I am a usually available for a check in). THE GUEST COTTAGE IS: About 8 minute drive to Atlantic Avenue downtown, a strip of shops, restaurants, cafés, and parks. Free and flat-rate parking/parking garages as well as some metered parking is available downtown. About 13 minutes drive to the public beach. Metered parking at beach. About 15 minutes away from Boynton Beach Mall and Cinema in Boynton Beach. About 20 minutes away from Town Center Mall in Boca Raton. Long term guests (28 nights or longer): Recycle bins and garbage can are in driveway area to the right of garage door. I will take it all from outside bin/can to curb, usually the night prior to the applicable scheduled pick up day. Inside the suite you will find a garbage can. As an FYI recycle pick up is on Tuesdays and garbage days are Tuesdays & Fridays. I will provide travel size shampoo and condition and soap upon arrival, please secure your preference of these items personally or request additional.
