Hideaway by the Mountain Lake: 100 m² Farmlife | High-Speed Starlink | Private Entrance Welcome to KRUCKENHAUS , where traditional Tyrolean farm life meets a modern atmosphere. Set in complete seclusion, surrounded by forests and meadows, this exclusive retreat offers peace, space, and privacy—just a 10-minute walk from the idyllic Berglsteiner Lake. Ideal for couples, friends, or single parents with teenagers who love slow travel but don’t want to miss out on reliable high-speed internet. The space The entrance to the apartment leads through the barn, where there is plenty of space to store bicycles, skis, or hiking equipment. Upon entering, you are welcomed by a wide hallway with warm wooden floors and a charming rustic coat rack. Immediately to the right is a newly renovated bathroom, followed by the cozy kitchen and a guest room. On the left side is the staircase, followed by two more bedrooms for our guests. In one of the three rooms, you can spread out, relax, and feel completely at home. At the end of the hallway, the balcony awaits with a comfortable wooden bench – the perfect spot to quietly enjoy the sunset over the mountains. Guest access Our farm is in a secluded location – no traffic, no road noise, just plenty of nature all around. Numerous hiking trails start right at the doorstep. Whether a leisurely walk or an extended mountain hike, the possibilities are endless. Just a few minutes on foot is the Berglsteinersee, a small, untouched mountain lake – perfect for cooling off, relaxing, or simply spending time in nature. Mountain bikers, photographers, and those seeking peace and quiet will also find plenty to enjoy here. During your stay You are welcome to reach me by phone at any time. Since there is always a lot to do on the farm, I may not be in front of it constantly, but I will reliably get back to you by the evening at the latest. In urgent cases, either my husband Flo or I can usually be found in or around the house. We’re happy to help if you need anything! 😉 Other things to note On the ground floor is the Kruckenhaus holiday apartment. We – Kathi, Flo, and our children Raphael, Sophia, and Christoph – live in the attic. On the middle floor are our private rooms, which are shared with other guests. The two guest rooms can also be booked together if available (max. 4 people, 2 per room). Smoking is only allowed on the balcony. Please take off your shoes inside the house – this keeps our wooden home clean and cozy. Since our barn with hay is right next door, open flames, smoking, or using a lighter in this area are strictly prohibited.
