Welcome to the Brewster House where we bring a little bit of New England to the OBX! Enjoy your beautiful beach getaway in our spacious (650 sqft +/-) ground floor oasis. This property boasts a large backyard, in ground pool (seasonal) and year-round brand new hot tub (2025). It is close to public beach accesses, eateries, entertainment, and shopping. We offer all kinds of DISCOUNTS that are AUTOMATICALLY applied to your reservation when booking. Our multi-night discount means the more nights you stay, the greater the discount! Want to take a last-minute getaway? We offer both last minute booking discounts and early bird discounts as well. Multiple discounts can also be applied at one time like a multi-night discount and an early bird discount :) This is a private ground floor unit on a quiet, dead-end street that offers plenty of privacy while still having the luxury of being just a short distance to both the ocean and sound. The outdoor area includes a relaxing seating area to enjoy your morning coffee or a beautiful evening outside while enjoying the pool. The in-ground pool is a relaxing spot to soak up the sun with a 6-seater table, lounge chairs, and Adirondack chairs. The yard backs up to the seascape golf links course with an amazing walking path. Enjoy time in the hot tub! There is a private entrance to the apartment. The bedroom has a plush king-sized bed with 12" memory foam mattress which provides for a relaxing night's sleep (all linens provided), dresser, and closet (Iron and ironing board provided). The living room offers an amazing lovesac sactional sofa to curl up after a long day at the beach. There is a 55" TV with complementary access to Roku TV, and a bunch of applications to use your own personal log ins. There is a desk for any work needs you may need to attend to. You will have your own heating/cooling system to control for your comfort. The bathroom has a stand-up shower, all linens, and a blow dryer are provided. Finally, our custom kitchenette offers a beautiful butcher block counter with bar stools, fridge and microwave, along with plastic silverware, paper products, and coffee cups to get you started. The Keurig coffee station provides your first day of coffee so you can wake up feeling refreshed :) FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: *Please read as this will answer 99% of your questions. Anything else, just ask! How Far Is The Beach? The ocean public beach access is 3/4 mile from the house. We are lucky to have a light and cross walk so you can either walk or drive to the beach. There are several free parking beach accesses within a 2 minute drive, one being on bleriot st which is the closest to the house. Where Are You Located? Our home is located in Kitty Hawk near mile post 2.5. What Complimentary Items Are Included? - 1 roll of paper towels - 1 roll of toilet paper - 1 bag per trash can - 2K Cups - Some cream and sugar - 4 bottles of water - 4 Coffee Cups - 4 each plastic cutlery - 4 each paper plates and bowls - Salt and Pepper - Shampoo - Conditioner - Body Wash - Hand Soap - Dish Soap and Sponge - Blow Dryer - Ironing Board and Iron Anything else you may need outside of the complimentary items provided will need to be brought by the guest. What Linens Are Included? - All bed linen - 2 Bath Towels - 2 Washcloths - 1 Bathroom Hand Towel - 1 Bath Mat (We do not provide beach or pool towels. Also please note there is not a washer and dryer at this location.) What Should We Bring? - Pool, Hot Tub, and Beach Towels - Additional coffee, paper and plastic products that you may need - Any additional items you may need that we do not provide When is the Pool and Hot Tub open and who can use it? The pool is open from April 15 - October 15th. The Hot Tub is open year-round. There is a fee included as part of your cleaning fee to cover the spa and pool cleaning. We have a local company that cleans and adjusts the chemicals twice a week. The pool, hot tub and backyard are shared with the other apartment. The pool is not heated. The pool and hot tub are only available to guests staying at this property. Do You Offer Early Check In Or Late Check Out? Unfortunately, no. Check In is any time after 4:00 PM. Our cleaners do not provide us with a scheduled time that they clean our house and in exchange, provide a lower cleaning rate. Because of this we are unable to guarantee any early check ins, however, our cleaners always do their best to get finished early. Check Out is at 10:00 AM. Due to the same reason, we are unable to accommodate any late check outs. In addition our cleaners do charge infraction fees if they need to wait on guests to leave past 10:00 AM. Do you offer cable TV? No, we offer a smart Roku TV. Additionally, there are many applications on the smart TV allowing you to sign into your own accounts. We also provide a DVD player. How Many Units Are On This property? There are two completely separate and 100% private units in a duplex style layout. Your unit is located on the ground floor of the home and is not shared with anyone. This specific listing is for the single bedroom downstairs apartment. We also rent out the upstairs apartment on Airbnb as either a 1 or 3 bedroom unit. If you click on my profile picture, you can view the listings under Truro House. How Old Do I Have To Be To Rent This Property? 18+ is welcome to book. No guests under the age of 18 is allowed without a parental guardian. Please note that this is not a property that allows party’s or extra guests that are not on the reservation and make sure to read through all house rules before booking. Is There A Grill? Unfortunately, no. The Outer Banks can often times be windy and each year many people on the beach lose their homes due to grill related house fires. For this reason and safety reasons we do not have a grill at our home :( Can COVID-19 Spread Through A Hot Tub Or A Swimming Pool? Directly from the CDC... “There is no evidence that the virus that causes COVID-19 can spread directly to humans from water in pools, hot tubs or spas, or water play areas. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (for example, with chlorine or bromine) of pools, hot tubs or spas, and water playgrounds should kill the virus that causes COVID-19.” Pool and hot tub chemicals are checked twice a week to ensure safe levels are maintained. Guest access You will have access to your ground floor apartment with private entrance which includes the fabulous kitchenette, living room, bedroom, bathroom, and living room. It is short distance to the public beach access (3/4 mile) where there is also parking, public restrooms, showers and a lifeguard station. The upper apartment is completely separate and both units are 100% private. The upper apartment is also available for rent on Airbnb. It can be rented as either a 1 or 3 bedroom apartment (1100 sqft). Just check out my profile page to view the upstairs apartment details under Truro House :) We also have an outdoor shower to allow you to rinse off after a day at the beach and tiki hut containing two beach chairs and umbrella (in the as-is condition) that you can access. You will have a designated side of the driveway which you can park up to two vehicles. The outdoor shower, tiki hut, hot tub and pool are the only shared areas. Our home is located in Kitty Hawk near mile post 2.5 and boasts an in-ground pool and backs up to a golf course. Other things to note This is a split level home with two 100% private apartments. Both are available for rent on Airbnb.
