Treehouse by the sea

Our treehouse by the beach is a lofty studio that sits on the second story, up in the trees. It's peaceful, bright, and cozy, walkable to downtown Wakefield, and you can bike to the beach! The space This home was originally a carriage house built in 1901 by Narragansett stone masons. The living space is located on the second story, an open studio that was completely renovated in 2017. After walking up the inviting stairs to the upper deck entrance, you'll be welcomed into this serene and cozy spot to call home for a while. There is plenty to do all around this location, but you might just want to relax here during your stay. Everyone who comes here comments on how peaceful our space is. Kick off your shoes and read a book or listen to our record collection, cook a meal in the open kitchen, have a nice cup of morning coffee, or a glass of wine on the deck. We also have THE most comfortable full size bed, and hope you have very restful sleep here. The sound of the frogs and crickets at night is quite relaxing. There is also a couch that is as wide as a single bed for an extra guest. We have a great deck with cafe table, and a luxurious outdoor shower. The location is great, walkable to restaurants and coffee. Take the bikes and explore the bike path that goes through town and leads to the beach. * Bikes are vintage, we do our best to keep them in working order. Available only in warmer months, and availability may vary. Guest access Walk up the inviting stairs to the upper deck entrance. You will have the entire home, except the garage space. The garage will be locked, but there is off street parking for 2 cars. Don't miss the outdoor shower in the back- it's really awesome! *Outdoor shower not available for use after being winterized. Other things to note There will not be access to laundry on site. Sorry we haven't finished landscaping/fencing the yard quite yet, just finished the house! We will get there.
