The Bothy
The Bothy
Description
The Bothy is a comfy wee space with an en-suite and its own front door. It was built in the 1890's and used to form part of a general store and post office ... It's light, bright and usually peaceful. We've got a train station just across the road and we're just off the A85 so very accessible for motorists, cyclists and the many walkers who come to experience Argyll. As your hosts, we are laid back and friendly and can give you all the privacy you want or be on hand if you need anything. The space Our space is within walking distance of train and bus stop and a quick drive to attractions such as Kilchurn Castle, Inveraray Jail and Cruachan Visitor Centre. It's a comfortable room with your own shower room and front door. Guest access Guests have access to their own front door, own room and shower room. During your stay One of us will usually be around throughout your stay but we're always at the end of a phone if you need anything. Other things to note We're extremely lucky to have a few Munros on our doorstep and we have a fabulous wee golf course here so perhaps you'd like to take your walking boots or golf clubs with you? We are of course opposite the railway station so you may experience some noise from said station from time to time. the front door faces onto the road....it's not a particularly busy road but again does generate some noise. At certain times of the year, we have young birds nesting in our eaves and these guys can be pretty noisy at times 😁 Registration Details AR02653F
