‘Artisan’ cottage welcomes all visitors, local and international. Our historic cottage has period features cleverly integrated with modern facilities which include two luxurious queen size beds , two bathrooms, open plan lounge, dining and kitchen. We are unique to Ballarat offering the cosy comfort of a wood fire as extra heating for those cold country nights. The space We aim to create the quintessential Ballarat experience by having developed a miners cottage into a well designed and solar powered environment. Our high quality bedding and linen are a feature most praised by our clients. The master bedroom suite comprising an ensuite and walk-in robe is accessed via a Victorian archway and can be separated by velvet curtain. An antique chinoiserie screen plus the English imported 1856 solid brass bed completes the room as a unique and restful retreat. The second bedroom has its own library of books, built in robe and TV / DVD. The bed is Australian made in 1900 and is Federation in style. The house has a air purifier to extract dust and particles from the air. We supply a stand-up garment steamer for special event clothing, coffee machine, washing machine and dryer. The main bathroom includes a full size bath, separate shower, hand basin and toilet. The cottage has a split system air conditioner, four heat banks and a wood fire in the lounge room which creates a country ambiance and additional warmth on very cold days. Large smart TV plus well appointed kitchen has a supply of standard condiments and is complemented by a coal fired BBQ / oven in a private back garden which is terraced and decked for outside entertaining. Guest access With off-street parking and front and back access the whole environment is perfect for inside outside entertaining.
