However these are our top picks: Y Bwyty Bach, Tretower (500 yds from the house, open Wed/Thu/Fri/Sat & Sun lunch) - FABULOUS FOOD! The Red Lion, Llangorse - open most days lunch & dinner The Farmers Arms, Cwmdu (Weds, Thu, Fri, Sat & Sun lunch) The Bear, Crickhowell (all day every day) The Felin Fach, near Brecon (daily) Further afield: The Hardwick, Abergavenny The Walnut Tree, Abergavenny (famous for winning Michelin stars, but still the best place - needs booking well in advance) The Angel Hotel, Abergavenny
