Dundas Castle Boathouse

The Boathouse is a charming self-catering cottage situated on the bank of the loch, within the picturesque Dundas Estate. This delightful property has an open plan bedroom & living area, extending to a veranda, which boasts breathtaking views across the loch, shared only with neighbouring ducks, swans and geese. Undeniably romantic, the Boathouse exudes a sense of tranquillity and peace, therefore we do not offer WIFI, allowing you to fully unwind and switch off from the outside world! The space Facilities include: -En-suite shower room with bathrobes, towels and L’Occitane toiletries -Fully fitted kitchen with everything you will need -A cosy seating area -Delightful veranda looking on to the loch, where you can dine or simply relax -Television Located just outside Edinburgh, the Boathouse is situated in an idyllic setting away from the hustle and bustle of the city. However, it is only a short 25 minute drive or train ride into the capital of Scotland. You can also explore other beautiful areas of Scotland from the Boathouse, only an hour from Glasgow, Loch Lomond and St Andrews (the home of golf). The Boathouse check-in time is from 4 pm, and check out is 10 am. There is a parking space for one car immediately in front of the Boathouse. Guest access You have total access to all areas of the Boathouse, it is entirely yours to enjoy. The veranda is private with undisturbed views of the loch. Please feel free to use the walking map provided to explore the public estate areas around the loch. There is no access up to Dundas Castle as it is a private area of the estate, however you can see it from the public walking routes.
