Quiet country style accommodation unique location

Ikamatua B &B - The accomodation is set in a rural garden overlooking the village of Ikamatua. The surrounding land is our own farmland. The surrounding rivers have excellent fishing. Great walks nearby. Good stopover when heading towards glaciers if heading south or north towards Nelson, Blenheim, or Picton. The local hotel in Ikamatua does great evening meals, this is only 5mins from accommodation. The space The accommodation is continental breakfast in your room. The kitchenette contains fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery and serving wear. Guests are welcome to use the outdoor furniture on the deck for shared use. During dry weather we ask that you respect water usage as we rely on a rainwater tank. Guest access Guests have access to outdoor swimming pool. (Please note the filtration plant is plugged in outside your room. If you think this could be a problem then dont stay.) The large decking area in front of the house is for everyone to use. There are 4 different seating areas dependant on weather and what you would like to do. There is a washing machine available, complimentary 1 wash load. If you would like to do more there is an additional cost. Other things to note If guests are likely to arrive late,It is recommended that you purchase yourselves a meal before you arrive here either travelling through Greymouth or Reefton. Ikamatua hotel does not always cook late, 5.30 - 8.30pm. If you find nothing is open a meal with the hosts can be arranged if we are home. Please if you come from a foreign country please translate the directions carefully. Most people find us easily but there are some who can’t find us at all!
