Things to Do: The city of Hikkaduwa offers a variety of activities: • Hikkaduwa Beach: One of the most popular and sought-after beaches in Sri Lanka. One of the first beaches in Sri Lanka to be discovered by tourism, Hikkaduwa beach boasts clear waters, white sand beaches, an array of fish and multi colored corals and sea turtles to even swim with. • Surfing: The area is one of the major surfing areas in South-Sri Lanka attracting surfers from all over the world due to the clear waters and reliable surf. • Diving: The waters around Hikkaduwa offer exceptional conditions for diving and snorkeling.
