Hut on the Hill Holidays

Traditional Shepherds Hut with a back to basics feel, privately situated in our quiet, walled garden, on the sunny slopes of the Mendip Hills. A stones throw from the famous Cheddar Gorge and Cliffs . Access to lovely walks and bike trails direct from your door , and yet a short stroll to pubs , cafes and restaurants. Wood stoves for those chillier nights to keep things cosy , we provide all wood/kindling . You will need to manage the stove yourself , a relatively easy task . The space Location !!! Guest access Our garden is also for guests to enjoy . An additional garden room is also for you to use, with simple camping style cooking facilities , fridge , plates , pans etc. and extra space for dining . This room is heated with a woodburning stove .The shower/toilet is exclusively for our visitors , located 10 meters from the hut. Please note , the garden room will not available from the end of September for the winter , therefore there will be no cooking facilities during this time . It will reopen again in the spring .There are tea / coffee making facilities in the hut instead , plenty of places to eat out just a couple of minutes walk away. Well behaved dogs are welcome to visit with owners , the garden is secure and enclosed , there is a £15 extra charge . Please mention when booking if you wish to bring your dog/s. Other things to note This listing is currently for solo travellers / one guest only. The lane up to our cottage is quite steep and narrow but not especially difficult to drive. Also please be aware , the wifi is pretty poor to average speed , depending on where you are at the location .
