Highlander Lodge at Merrijig

Highlander Lodge is a kids friendly year-round lodge offering accommodation for up to 10 guests. It is situated just 5 minutes away from the gateway to Mt Buller. It is fully self contained with a kitchen and a spacious living area with a log fire place. It is an ideal winter and summer holiday get-away for families and corporate groups & has been renovated in 2021. The space The guests have access to the whole space which includes 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There is a spacious open plan living which includes a TV, comfortable couches and a 10 seater dining table which provides the perfect setting for families to get together as well as bar stools on the kitchen island bench. The living area opens up to a newly renovated balcony boasting amazing views of Mt Buller. There is also a large main bathroom. A fully equipped kitchen with an induction cooktop, pots & pans, microwave, dishwasher, oven & fridge. Plenty of utensils and cutlery provided. Bedroom/bedding configuration DOWN STAIRS / BASEMENT 1 bedroom - 2 singles 1ST FLOOR / UP STAIRS 1 bedroom with ensuite - double 1 bedroom with ensuite - double 1 bedroom - split king (two singles joined together with a king fitted sheet and doona). Please notify at the time of booking if you wish for this to be 2 seperate singles. No changes can be made after. 2ND FLOOR Open attic - 2 singles. There is no door to close off this area. It is an OPEN attic on the top floor. There is also no heater. All bedrooms come with doonas, pillows, pillow cases, sheets, towels and heater. All bathrooms include complimentary body wash, shampoo, conditioner and soap. The laundry is fitted with a washing machine, dryer and washing powder. Portable BBQ available for hire at an additional rate of $30 per stay. There is also a ski locker/drying room outside which can be locked. Please note: there is no bathtub. Three kitchen cupboards and attic storage door closed for cleaning and extra supplies. New electrical setup installed in 2024 so there will be no power trips. Older model of hot water system so hot water may take longer if multiple people are showering. NO wifi Guest access There is a slightly steep gravel driveway and a set of stairs to get to the main living area.
