The Thatched Cottage

Cosy, traditional, newly renovated 200 year old thatched cottage in a private, peaceful location surrounded by fields and wildflowers. Less than 5 minutes drive from the picturesque seaside village of Kinvara with shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Situated along the Wild Atlantic Way, close to Tracht Beach and within easy driving distance of attractions such as the Cliffs of Moher, Ailwee Cave, Lahinch Beach etc. The space The space is completely private and our guests have sole access to the entire cottage and surrounding garden. Please note that we are unable to accept pets at the cottage. The space includes an open plan kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen and dining area are fully-equipped for all your needs whilst the cosy living area is the perfect place to relax by the stove with a book or movie on the smart TV after a day of exploring. There are electric heaters in the living room, bedrooms and bathroom. The heaters in the living room and bedrooms are always on for your comfort. The stove can be lit for added coziness and ambience (we provide fuel for your first night). Please burn only turf or wood.... the stove is not suitable for coal. The cottage has a 'smart' TV. There are no TV stations available but you can watch YouTube and any other free streaming services, e.g. free movies. You can also log in to your Netflix, Amazon Prime etc accounts. There are two bedrooms in the cottage. Bedroom 1 is the master double bedroom with a King size bed. Bedroom 2 has a a standard double bed. In renovating the cottage, we have aimed to honour the traditional atmosphere of the space whilst also making it comfortable and convenient. Guest access Guests have the cottage and garden to themselves. Complete privacy and peace.
