Your room is upstairs in this historic 4 BR 2 full bath home that has survived a century of changes. You feel like going back in time but still feel cozy and comfortable even though the original wood floors squeak and the walls have some "wrinkles". Your room used to be two separate rooms but has been opened up. Two queen beds accommodate up to 4 guests. Just 5 min from I-235 or I-44 and walking distance to a semi-historic district on Western street. The space You book ONE ROOM at an old historic-type home that was revived to kinda like the old Midwest-American days and is decorated in old Western style, with bath having an old claw tub. Sadly , "professional" resurfacing the tab did not last long and paint ceramic surface is peeling off . But should not deter you from getting well refreshed. Your room has two queen beds. Kitchen is fully equipped available for use with the understanding that it is shared with other guests. Guest access You may stretch out in the downstairs living room . But all other downstairs is reserved for those guests, except for the laundry area that you find downstairs by passing trough the kitchen. Use of the downstairs kitchen is off limits, though. Kitchen for upstairs' residents have their own kitchen upstairs. During your stay I don't live there but am available being just 20 minutes away if personal assistance is needed Other things to note Often, guests just seek to book cheap instead of checking if the accommodation fits their needs. And then forget in their excited haste to read the entire listing , only to then feel surprised that we did not promise top-notch first class Ritz Service when they get here. So If you are used to staying in hotels and expect the same at my homes then my Airbnb may not be the right fit for you . My homes are not suitable for high maintenance snobs, like Niles & Frasier Crane . If you want and need extravagance hotel service PLEASE BOOK THERE and pay them for the thousand things you actually don't need. But if you appreciate simplicity, functionality and comfort in a relaxing feel-at-home like atmosphere then give us a try . At least we don't rob your bank ! Also, you will book ONE PRIVATE ROOM, not the entire house. AND yes, there will be others staying ! No need to ask. Please do not laugh, I get those questions all the time.
