Self contained, rural cottage, 2 double bedrooms

Peaceful rural cottage situated just off the A339 with stunning views. 10 minutes by car from Basingstoke train station. The cottage is next to our house and is a cosy, well equipped place to stay for either a commuter mid week or someone wanting to escape for country walks or bicycle rides. It has a small paved terrace for admiring the view. It is within a mile of Pitt Hall Barn, also close to Oakley Hall, Highclere Castle and Newbury Racecourse to name but a few. Dogs welcome by agreement. The space The house has wheelchair access and one of the bedrooms is downstairs with an ensuite wet room. The masterbedroom can be made up as either 2 single beds or a Kingsize double bed. Guest access There is parking for 2 cars in front of the cottage and a small seating area on a terrace overlooking our paddock. The cottage is private and self contained however there is an access passage to the rear which leads to the stables. Other things to note We have chickens, doves, Kune Kune pigs, 2 horses and a miniature shetland - all are very friendly and love attention!
