A gazebo with a barbecue area enhances the outdoor space. Pollara is a small hamlet in the municipality of Malfa, famous for its breathtaking sunsets over the sea. The area is very cool and quiet. The "Le Balate" beach is about 800 meters away. It's made of volcanic rocks, which give access to the sea. It's reached via a nature trail with about 120 steps. The sea water here is always clean and crystal clear, and the seabed is rich in fish. A few steps from the house, a two-minute walk away, are two restaurants: "Il Postino" and the "Al Cappero" farmhouse, where you can also enjoy excellent aperitifs. At "Sapori Eoliani," about 100 meters away, you can purchase typical products such as capers and local pesto. Pollara is also known for being the location for Massimo Troisi's 1994 film "Il Postino." The houses are set against the backdrop of Monte Porri (860 meters), home to the Queen's Falcon. The nearest main town is Malfa, about 6 km away, offering various services such as a supermarket, pharmacy, post office, bank, and car/scooter rentals. The bus stop is just 100 meters from the house, opposite the Church of Sant'Onofrio. Next to the house, with its own independent access, is "Villa Pollara Ovest." The two homes share a parking lot, laundry room, and back yard, but the entrances and terraces are completely separate and ensure complete privacy. To easily reach the area, we recommend renting a car/scooter. The nearest town is Malfa, about 6 km away, where you'll find a supermarket, rentals, shops, boat trips, a pharmacy, a medical center, and an ATM.
