Dear all, Lisboa it's a vibrant city with so much to explore within and its surroundings. FEEL the city HEART BEAT from our cosy apartment. Hope to see you all, soon........ The space This is a cosy apartment, on the first floor of a refurbished old building right at the city heart, located in the oldest typical neighborhood of Lisbon, Alfama. it is ideal for two people. You will be at a walking distance from the most known historical neighborhoods. FEEL the city HEART BEAT from here! This small functional apartment with a double bedroom a spacious living/dinning room, a full-equipped kitchen and a bathroom it’s ideal for two. A double sofa bed in the living room, can accommodate two extra guests at most. The flat has heating system (in the winter), two silent fans (in the summer) and double glass windows. If you travel with a baby a crib and high chair will be provided at request. From here you will be at a walking distance from historical neighbourhoods like Mouraria, Costa do Castelo and Alfama, or the lively Chiado and Bairro Alto. You can choose visiting historical monuments, shopping, or go out at night on foot. There is live music on the back streets of the building and sometimes you can hear the performances and people in the streets late in the evening. This is a central city area expect busy traffic, especially during the day at working hours. This area is well served by public transport: - Rossio underground station, tram 15 to Belém district, tourist and city buses, taxis, Rossio train station to Sintra; all at 1 to 5 minutes walking distance. - The stop for the old tram 28 through historical neighborhoods is at less than 5 minutes walking distance. 737 bus to the Castle is 1 minute away. Places to visit at a 5-15 minute walk: -Rossio plaza and Rossio train station -Lisbon Cathedral -Miradouro de Santa Luzia -Castle of São Jorge -Praça do Comércio -Santa Justa lift -Carmo Convent -Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara FEEL the city HEART BEAT from here! This is a central city area expect busy traffic, especially during the day at working hours. The kitchen, bathroom and bedroom are at the back of the apartment, below ground level. Although all the windows in these rooms are above ground and illuminate the apartment, you may smell some damp especially in winter. But based on feedback from our guests, we have been consistent for the most part in combating the damp smell. We are aware that sometimes there is a bad smell coming from the bathroom. We try to minor it with air spray, aromatic candles, sticks and cleaning surface plumbing.but sometimes it's something that we can not control it have to do with the old plumbing in the city in older buildings like ours. But again based on feedback from our guests, we have been consistent for the most part in combating the bad smell. Registration Details 26531/AL
