Waterfront setting in a relaxing, but convenient, location in southeastern Vermont. Photos and captions do the best job of describing our cabin, adjacent brook, and very nearby Green River with its covered bridge and swimming holes. The cabin is 20 minutes from Brattleboro with its many restaurants, shops, movie theater, and galleries. Not only is the immediate area wonderful for swimming, biking, and hiking, you can also simply relax with a good book or two. The space Our place comes with fire wood, a wood stove, a fire pit, a Weber charcoal grill, and inner tubes for floating in the Green River. Kayaks and canoes can be rented in Brattleboro for use on the Connecticut River. Guest access The entire cabin and grounds may be accessed. Other things to note Descriptions of suggested swimming, hiking, biking, tubing adventures, and side trips, restaurants, etc. are provided in Guidebook available in the cabin. The cabin does not have a washer or dryer, but laundromats are available in Brattleboro. When heat is needed, if you don't want to bother with the wood stove, we have a new whole-house heater that is quiet, efficient, and warms the house beautifully. NOTE: This is a place to unplug and unwind. There is no WIFI or cell phone reception at the cabin. There is a landline for making local calls out and receiving long distance calls. WIFI and cell phone reception are available about 10 minutes from the cabin by car in Guilford Center.
