Abermawr Cottage, Nr St Davids. Walk to beach

Abermawr cottage is a recently renovated stone and cedar single story cottage nestling on the edge of a stunning National Trust woodland, only a 15 minute walk from the beautiful beaches of Abermawr and Aberbach. This is a walkers paradise set in an incredibly peaceful location with a great range of wildlife on the doorstep! The house has amazing character with the main kitchen/ living area having exposed beams and a very high ceiling, inglenook fireplace with a woodburning stove. The space There is a lawned area and a flag stone patio with a BBQ to enjoy this tranquil environment. The waves can often be heard crashing on the local beach on a quiet day, and the dawn /evening bird chorus is quite fantastic. We also have an amazing bat roost (Soprano pipistrelles) which are incredible to watch on their evening forays! A lockable garage is available for storing bikes and kayaks. Access to the coast path is down a quiet country lane into the National trust woodlands which are carpeted with bluebells in the spring and through which a delightful burbling stream runs. NB: Recently listed in the Sunday Times as one of the top 50 holiday homes for families in Britain! (April 2018) Guest access Access is available to the whole house and garage. There is a patio and lawned garden area, as well as a large driveway with ample parking for at least 4 cars. Other things to note DOGS: you are very welcome to bring your dogs. However, I do make an extra charge of £25 per dog which can be settled up with me on arrival. EV charging points are available at Melin Tregwynt woollen mill (2 miles) why not visit the fab cafe and shop while you recharge!
