Holly Bluff Island

Remote Cabin on the last private island on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. My family and friends have been coming here and enjoying it for 30 years and now its time to share. Its like stepping back in time- no electricity, gas lights, stove and refrigerator. We have another house on the island we stay in and we renovated the kitchen in this one last year to offer it up to you and yours! Out door shower. State of Virginia Occupancy Tax of 5% is charged. The space It is perfect for Kyakers or baoters that can launch from the public landing. We can arrange for our working boat to pick your larger party up - however it is subject to tide limitations and is $100.00 around trip. Guest access Their cabin, all beaches, the whole island. Other things to note You will want to bring your groceries as trips over to shore are not super convenient. You can fish off the shore, oysters are in abundance, crabs when in season. Water is collected for bathing and dishes but is not drinkable. We provide 5 gallons of water a day for cooking or drinking and you might want more. There is hot water like a regular house for cleaning or bathing.Each trip in our boat is 100.00 dollars round trip.
