The Nook is a one bedroom Victorian house. It has been fully-renovated with a kitchen/dining area on the ground floor. The fully-equipped kitchen includes a fridge, a freezer, a washing machine, a dishwasher and an oven/hob. The living room features a comfortable corner sofa, Freeview TV and DVD player. The bedroom has a king size bed, wardrobe, and chest of drawers. The bathroom has a bath and shower. Outside there is a seating area and guests also have use of the gardens. The space The Nook was originally the servants' quarters for Ivythwaite Lodge, a gentleman's residence built in the 1860's in Windermere. The lodge is now a traditional Lakeland stone and flint guest house. The Nook has been converted into a one bedroom cottage. Guest access Guests have full access of the cottage and its garden terrace. Guests have shared access of the gardens surrounding the adjoining guest house, as well as the private car park with EV charger. Other things to note The cottage is let on a self-catering basis.
