Gîtes Libellule – Gîte Chouette

In the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees nature park, Gite Chouette is an elegant, tasteful gîte with a fully enclosed garden. It is one of three gîtes built in former stables on the banks of the river. The gîte is spacious and well-equipped. The windows offer changing views of the river life. Ideal for hikers, cyclists, fishermen and bikers looking for peace and quiet. The space Recently renovated in spring 2021. New oven and hob, wooden worktop and fresh paint. In the living room, there's a beautiful new sofa and a new double sofa bed. In 2022, we installed a pellet stove which gives a warm and cosy atmosphere. Please be aware that pellets are not included in the price and are an extra 6.50 euros a 15 kg bag. The gite has its walls directly in the river and it's wonderful to watch the wildlife and listen to the gentle flow of the water. Guest access Your gîte has a separate entrance and a fully enclosed private front garden. There's also a large garden for relaxing and enjoying the cicadas, birdsong and sounds of the river. To extend the evening and chat with friends, there's a large brazier. We live on site, so we'll be there to welcome you and hand over the key. We'll be happy to advise you on local attractions, restaurants and good walks with breathtaking views.
