At our place you will experience a home away from home. We now put some breakfast cereal, fresh fruit, bread, tea and coffee in the apartment The apartment has one bedroom with a queen size bed, large open living area, own bathroom and entrance. Our place is close to public transport, the Airport, Botanical Gardens, City, restaurants and cafes. The space The apartment is located below the main house where we live. The double garage is also on same level, the roller door can be a little noisy when operated. This accommodation with en-suite comes with your own personal private space. It is suitable for one or two people who want peace and quiet in a tranquil setting during their stay in Cairns. The bedroom is the only room that is air-conditioned. Please keep door and windows closed when on😁 There is a large fridge freezer, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, plus toaster sandwich maker for your continental breakfast or light lunch. Hotplate stove small oven is setup in outside area. There is a table and chairs outside plus inside for use by guests. It is completely separate from the rest of the house so you can come and go as you please. Guest access Guests have their own access and can relax in the lush tropical garden. Other things to note As we live above the apartment you may hear us upstairs, we try our best to keep the noise level down in the evening. During the daytime we do many house hold chores and apologise in advance for any noise we make. The roller door to the garage is also a little noisy, apologise in advance. On occasion we may look after a friends dog but will let our guests know in advance. Our Wi-fi access is NBN generally okay but have had a recent outage in the area with no explanation from Telstra. There is an iron and ironing board and guests may use the washing machine.
