Restored old building on medieval site, on edge of the Shropshire Hills AOB, in quiet location in central Bishop's Castle. Double and single bedrooms, lovely old furniture, luxurious modern comfort, well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher; walk-in shower downstairs, bathroom upstairs; centrally heated plus log-burner; wi-fi and television. Sleeps up to three adults or two adults and a child. Dogs welcome downstairs. Off street parking, electric charging point and private courtyard. The space The cottage is a separate building, across a wide yard from the owners' grade-two sixteenth-century house. It has off-street parking and it'sown entrance. The buildings form a peaceful oasis immediately behind the High Street of Bishop’s Castle, one of England’s quirkiest and most unique small towns. We are close to the pubs, restaurants and shops but it’s often so quiet that you can hear the woodpeckers and there’s so little light pollution you can see the Milky Way on clear nights. Visitors have commented that sometimes the only thing they could hear in the mornings were the birds. Guest access We have off-road parking, immediately by the cottage. The cottage has it's own charming courtyard garden with garden furniture, including a swing-seat, and its own friendly gargoyle. All the amenities in Bishop's Castle are within walking distance. Other things to note The courtyard garden is self-contained, entirely for your use, walled and gated off from our garden so ideal for children or dogs.
