An Airbnb in the spirit of the early days! - Simple budget accommodation in my home, (1 of 3 rooms let on Airbnb), which I share with my friendly Border Collie x Bernese Mountain Dog. SHARED BATHROOM, NO LOCKS ON BEDROOM DOORS! - A SMALL double room, with 4'6" double bed, spring & memory foam mattress, medium to soft. Small computer desk and swivel chair. - ONE guest dog allowed; please ask when booking. Whitehaven = 1.75 miles, (No Ubers!) The space I offer simple, basic, no frills accommodation. (No TV, but the house has a license for watching on your own devices.) A comfortable 4'6" bed, & a hot shower. And all for less than the price of a bunk in a hostel! The bedroom doors have NO LOCKS, being a PRIVATE HOME, not a commercial guest house. My house is one of 6 converted stables. This bedroom overlooks a courtyard and the 3 cottages (& sometimes their flowers) round the back. And a glimpse of a sea view to the left of the courtyard roofs! Please be aware that the ONLY bathroom/WC is SHARED between all who live in the house. There may be other Airbnb guests in another room at the same time. Or longer term lodgers Mon - Thurs nights. -And Bessie the Border Collie/Bernese, who has the freedom of the downstairs areas! Guest access Guests have access to the kitchen & dining room, but not the living room, which is my "den." Please restrict kitchen use to 45 minutes (light cooking), not 3 hour cooking marathons! There is no TV in the bedrooms, but there is BT Complete Wifi for your own devices. Bessie, the border collie/Bernese has access to the whole of the downstairs. Bikes can be stored in the kitchen, or shared courtyard round the back. During your stay I'm happy to chat or leave you alone, as required! Other things to note There may be other guests staying in my other two letting rooms, usually 2 singles or a couple, but very occasionally 1 single plus a couple. I have no smartphone! My simple phone receives SMS notifications from Airbnb. So if you message when I'm out with the dog, or on the hills, I'll respond as soon as I get home to my laptop!
