About 1 1/4 hours to Waitomo Caves, only 35 minutes to Mystery Creek Events Centre (Feildays site) and Hamilton Airport. Bedroom with Queen bed, fully insulated and double-glazed. The bathroom is a semi-ensuite located in our laundry but solely for the use of the guest. There is a door directly from the room. The space Our room is fully insulated, double-glazed windows with insect screens and a new shower. We are the closest Bed & Breakfast to Hobbiton Movie set in the world! Just over 2km away so you can walk if you want to. It is a very peaceful rural setting to sit and relax. You can enjoy your continental breakfast sitting on the deck if you wish. Lots of other things to do in the area, Blue Springs, Firth Tower Museum, Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari, Wairere Falls, Lake Karapiro, Fieldays etc Guest access The room has it's own entrance from the covered carpark. There is a lovely big deck available for guests to use. During your stay We love to socialise with our guests, but only if that is what they want. Guests can have their private space if they wish. Happy to offer tips on where to go and what to do. Other things to note We do have a cat called Nigel. He is not allowed in the room but is in and around our home. If you are going on the Banquet tour we can arrange drop-off after the event at our gate. Please just let me know so I can organise it.
