"Il Querciolo" is an ancient farm located in Valdichiana. It is a place where you can breathe the "Tuscany" and where you can listen to the sound of nature, it is the place to immerse yourself in country life to give and receive unique and unforgettable emotions. Today it is an entirely organic farm that produces legumes, cereals, oil and Syrah wine. These products can be tasted in our Agriturismo, where the Cellar is also located. The space The farmhouse stands on a gentle hill in the middle of the Valdichiana, among olive trees, vineyards and fields cultivated with wheat and sunflowers. Depending on your needs, it is possible to choose between six types of apartments, created in the ancient 19th century farmhouse and in the annexes, all furnished in rustic style with original period family furniture. The apartments are equipped with every comfort, each with an independent bedroom and bathroom. Guests have access to a swimming pool in which to relax and enjoy unique views and sunsets. The farmhouse is the perfect place for families with children looking for resting, in contact with nature and the real Tuscany. At Il Querciolo you can breathe the history of a family that has loved its land for generations and has remained intimately linked to it. "Pozzale" is a beautiful apartment located on the ground floor of the main house, comprising two rooms and a bathroom. The apartment features exposed wooden beams typical of Tuscan homes in every room. It has a private entrance at the front of the house, overlooking the garden. The apartment comprises a living room with a dining area and kitchenette, and a double sofa bed (suitable for two adults or two children). The double bedroom overlooks the back garden and a bathroom with a shower, bidet, and toilet. The furnishings are very comfortable, with original antique furniture. The original high bed, typical of Tuscan tradition, is unique and much appreciated. Independent gas heating is provided. The apartment has independent air conditioning in the bedroom to improve comfort in the summer months. All windows are fitted with mosquito nets to prevent small insects from entering. A table and chairs are available for guests' use at the front of the house. It must be requested after booking and will be provided in the rooms upon arrival Guest access All areas of the farmhouse are shared and available to guests with the exception of the areas reserved for each apartment which are indicated by a special tag with the name itself. Other things to note We offer a variety of services, all designed to ensure guests have a unique experience in our countryside. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, is extremely fast, and free for guests. The swimming pool (12m x 6m, 2m deep) is shared but remains exclusively for the guests. They can use it from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm from May to September, depending on the season. Guests have a reserved area at the pool, indicated by a sign with the apartment name, where they will find a beach umbrella, loungers, swing chairs, and a small table. Guests must abide by the pool rules and bring their own towels. If you do not have towels, they can request them at the time of booking, before arrival, and they will be provided for your stay for a small additional fee. Unaccompanied minors are not permitted to use the pool. Diving or other dangerous activities are not permitted. The farmhouse has a laundry room with two washing machines and a dryer, available upon request for an additional fee. This service is shared with other guests. During the colder months (usually the winter months, from October to April inclusive, depending on the seasonal climate), central heating is available. Each apartment is individually controlled. Heating is included in the price. Pets are allowed, but only one (1) per apartment, with a maximum weight of twenty (20) kg. The price for accommodation is €10.00 per night. To make their arrival at the Agriturismo even more pleasant, guests can request a bottle of their own "Occhio di Civetta" Syrah IGT Toscano in their apartment, priced at €25/bottle.
