Stoneyfield Shepherd's Hut is a unique experience, set in the hills of Glen Urquhart. It is secluded within trees in a farming environment, providing a peaceful getaway close to the many spectacular attractions of the Loch Ness area. It has been finished to a very high standard (full kitchen and plumbed-in toilet/ shower-room), while exhibiting a bespoke rustic style. A perfect haven for a relaxing break in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, the location featured in the Outlander TV show. The space Stoneyfield Shepherd’s Hut is a modern but rustic-style cabin, finished to a very standard and set within beautiful surroundings next to a small stream. It provides full ‘self-catering’ facilities with a functional kitchen and ‘hidden’ toilet/ shower room. Another key feature is its wood-burning stove, keeping you cosy through the chillier Highland evenings. There is a built-in king size bed plus a child’s (10 years and under) bed that converts from the seating/ dining area. Guest access The hut is fully self-contained, including exclusive parking. Guests have access to these entire facilities. Other things to note The hut is set near a couple of farming houses where locals live. The host lives along the drive from the hut and is there if needed. Otherwise guests are left entirely to themselves.
