A lovely two bedroom cottage with private parking, garden, and comfortable living in a beautiful, quieter part of the Lake District. Our location in the Lakes makes for a great base to explore all that there is on offer - country walks from the doorstep and nearby, great pubs, attractions, a day by the lake, and amazing views. Popular towns and villages are within easy reach by car, as are some of the best walks in the Lake District and Coniston Lake. The space Off a rural lane, The Cottage is a self catering property. Step inside to a porch for hanging up any coats, and then your warm and welcoming home from home awaits. The house is focussed on comfortable living with WiFi, fully equipped kitchen, living room with smart tv and great views from the double patio doors; upstairs you’ll find a bathroom with roll top bath and shower and two large bedrooms with views across fields, fells and mountains. There is a private lawned garden with seating, a BBQ and a fire pit. Kitchen Fully equipped with Rangemaster oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher (tablets included), tea, cafetière and coffee machine. Tea, coffee and sugar are all included. Living room Multi-fuel woodburning stove, large corner leather sofa, blankets, coffee table and smart tv. Dining room Traditional stone flag floor with dining table and seating for 4. Utility room Washing machine (detergent included), mop, hoover, freezer, and clothes horse. Bedroom one King size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and full length mirror. Bedroom two Super king bed and a single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, and a dressing table. Nearby attractions and amenities The cottage is situated close to some fantastic walks, villages, towns, and places to eat, yet in a lovely hamlet away from the hustle and bustle: It is approx 10minutes from the nearest market town of Ulverston with a supermarket, independent shops, food stalls, restaurants and pubs, and a lovely walk. Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway (10mins) Coniston lake (10mins) Coniston village with great walks, places to eat and shops (20mins) Hawkshead village, Bowness on Windermere, Ambleside and Cartmel are all within close driving distance. All rooms of the house will be thoroughly cleaned before your arrival and cleaning equipment will be available for you to use for the duration of your stay. Guest access Guests will have the use of the cottage to themselves, including private car parking for 2 cars and fenced back garden of The Cottage with bbq, seating, fire pit and lawn.
