Description

Welcome to Corbin Guesthouse Retreat! We welcome you to a quiet retreat with close-by trails, river beach, and easy access to all our neck of the woods has to offer. Centennial Trail and Corbin Frisbee Golf/Spokane River Park - two local attractions - are half-mile from your doorstep! Corbin Guesthouse is 30 minutes from GEG airport in Spokane, WA; 30 minutes from Silverwood Theme Park; 12 minutes to Coeur d’Alene; 2 minutes to I-90; 10 minutes to Liberty Lake; and 15 minutes to Spokane Valley. The space This property is close to town, a 1/4 mile from the Centennial Trail, a 1/4 mile to Corbin Park (river access and frisbee golf course), and close to the Washington-Idaho border. CORBIN PARK: There is a disc golf city park around the corner. This is the most beautiful and treed park that Post Falls has to offer. It’s also on the Spokane River. Heed signage and make sure that you have the appropriate gear if you plan to swim or paddle. Life jackets are highly recommended. This part of the river is below the dam and can run pretty fast in the spring and slows way down by August. Please use caution and life jackets due to strong/invisible undertow! Corbin Park is also a nice place to fish, has a beach volleyball court, baseball diamond, covered picnic areas, a reserveable pole building for events, a log building for bathrooms, and fire pits and picnic areas around the park. Walking trails abound. The beach is a wide area made up of small rocks, but children have fun using beach toys. CENTENNIAL TRAIL: Walk or ride a short distance to the paved trail that runs for miles and miles both ways (to Spokane or to Coeur d’Alene). It crosses the Spokane River at Stateline with picturesque views. Guest access Please use the parking area and covered patio in front of the apartment for your pleasure. A family lives next door and will be utilizing the back yard along with the neighbor kids. ABSOLUTELY NO ANIMALS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED. We try to keep the unit allergy friendly for other guests. Thank you for being considerate! The space is family friendly and we encourage you to lovingly use the toys and books provided inside. Please refrain from going into the backyard, using outdoor toys, or roaming the property. Other things to note Kitchen utensils, a griddle, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, barbecue (around the side of the apartment on the south side), and portable Oster toaster oven are available in the unit. If you need specialty utensils or items, feel free to check for availability by text. SECURITY NOTE: Your safety matters. This property features 2 exterior security cameras. Camera 1 is the Ring doorbell, located at the front entry facing the carport parking area and driveway. Camera 2 is located at the back porch of the neighboring house and monitors the back yard area. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras continuously record audio and video.
