Notholmen Private Island with rowing boat

Notholmen Island is a secluded place outside the small village of Vikan. You are at one of the most unique costal areas of Norway along the Atlantic road. Notholmen was a reception centre for fish in its early years and is now our family's paradise. We are happy to share the unique place with others when not in use. Minimum stay of three nights. Guests have access to a rowing boat. Sheets is ordered for 150 nok p/ pers. The space Notholmen is close to attractions such as the Atlantic road, the little village of Bud and lies at the coastline Hustadvika, known for its beauty and rough weather. Our guests often comments on the peace they find here and being connected with the environment and disconnect digitally. The facilities only has an out-doors toilet. Guest access You have access to the whole island and the paradise of Hustadvika all around. The house can easily facilitate bigger groups. A small rowing boat will be provided for guests. Life vests must be worn at all times at sea in Norway - this is regulated by law. There is no wifi available. Only out-door toilet. Check in is 15:00 pm while check out is at noon 12:00. Other things to note Please feel at home in our paradise. We highly recommend fishing, hiking in the close-by mountains or just lay in the grass talking to our sheep. Bring your sleeping-bags/bed-sheets and towels or ask for bed-sheets for an extra charge of 150 NOK per person per visit. We do not live close by and want therefore our guest to do the cleaning themselves. If you can’t do it, we have to charge you the fee for cleaning personal. The cleaning fee is 1000,- NOK. We will Ask you if you do the cleaning yourselves. The closest supermarket is in Bud 7 km away, so if you come by public transport it is good to buy food in advance.
