Creekside Cabin Near Pikes Peak

Tucked at the base of Pikes Peak, this peaceful log cabin is the perfect Colorado escape. Just 20 feet from Fountain Creek, you’ll fall asleep to rushing water and wake to the sunrise over panoramic views of Waldo Canyon. Minutes from Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, and top hiking trails and breweries, this authentic mountain retreat sits on a private 2-acre property where you can relax, unwind, stargaze, spot wildlife almost daily, and soak in the scenery. The space All you can ask for in a mountain retreat. Accessible main floor living, this home has a stone wood burning fireplace in the living room, full kitchen (with all amenities) and dining area, 2 bedrooms (one queen, and 2 twins), a pull out couch, and 1 full bathroom. The mountain road getting into the property can be a little bumpy and rough at times, but normal sedan or truck or van or suv will make it no problem. Amenities include strong and stable WiFi, YouTube-TV with Smart TV Apps like NetFlix, Amazon Prime Movies, HBOMax and an Alexa music system and local phone for emergencies. Guest access Great for remote work — peaceful, Wi-Fi equipped, and inspiring views. Guests have full access to the entire 2-acre property, including view of creek and 360 degree mountain peaks including Waldo Canyon and the foothills of Pikes Peak. The property is located at the end of a quiet dead-end minimum maintenance road in a mountain neighborhood. The road is drivable for most cars. Low-clearance sports cars are not recommended. In winter, the road is plowed when snowfall exceeds 2–3 inches. Other things to note Your dogs are welcome, but you must notify host of breed and the number of dogs that will be accompanying your stay (max 2). There will be an additional $25 cleaning fee per dog. We love dogs, but they are not allowed on any furniture, and owners must pick up after their pet. Airbnb’s platform limits the number of pets by their fee, so there may be a 2nd dog fee charged after the booking if you have 2 dogs. Cats are not allowed. Do you have a larger group? Disclosure: There is an exterior security camera pointed away from the home down the driveway at the entrance to the property. Lastly the home has a septic, so please refrain from flushing anything besides toilet paper and normal stuff down the drain. And we’re on city water, so the water is fresh and tastes good.
