From your private, second-story balcony you can see the bustle of Bay Street, while shaded in the cool quiet of a residential street. Sip morning coffee and evening champagne on your balcony while you listen to the timeless sounds of horse and carriage on the street below, and soft cathedral bells in the air above. This spacious light-filled apartment features heart-pine floors, large windows, and has two master bedrooms, each with a king bed and luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets. Each bedroom has a full, private bath: one with a tub/shower, and one with step-in shower. The living room boasts the classic Belle Epoch architectural detail of the floor-to-ceiling glass window that opens onto your private balcony, as well as a 40" smart tv w/ cable. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, spices, coffee, tea, dishes, and glasses, as well as with all new appliances, including dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, and toaster. The kitchen bar opens into a bright dining room, with seating for 6. The layout of the apartment is ideal for guests, as the two master bedrooms are separated by the common spaces, creating a private sanctuary for each party. The historic condo walls are made of double-brick and covered in plaster, which creates a sound-proof space—not only internally, but you also won’t hear your neighbors. We have cable TV, wifi, washer/dryer, and a keyless entry, so you never have to worry about losing the keys. There is a secure, rear exit that opens onto a fire escape (and beautiful views of urban gardens and courtyards). The condo is located in the heart of the Landmark Historic district; next door to the Owens Thomas House and half a block from Broughton Street. For those of you with cars, there is metered parking on the street immediately in front of Lincoln Plaza, and four blocks away there is unmetered (free) street parking. Spaces are always available in the vicinity. We recommend that you purchase a Visitor DAYPASS, which allows parking-- without further payment-- in any city parking garage/lot, parking overtime in limited time zones, and parking at any parking meter.
