Room with small coffee and homemade crepes I offer, on the 1st floor of an art-deco house that has 4 apartments, a room in my cozy apartment with a flowery terrace. Shared bathroom that is in my room but I adapt to your needs and schedules. The space Nothing unique but tastefully furnished with antique objects and furniture that are important to me and a real pleasure to welcome you with ease. A large terrace if you want to have lunch outside or simply enjoy the beautiful evenings in Brest; and yes even in Brest you can stroll outside and you are in the French department where the sun sets the latest so come and enjoy very long days and especially lively evenings in Brest; dynamic city and young people around our ports Guest access Kitchen at your disposal, library as well, a garage for bicycles but does not close so plan for anti-theft. Or better yet, we can take them up to the terrace During your stay At my place, no hassle; you can cook; sleep in: checkout at noon at the latest unless there's an exceptional situation (you can leave your luggage to better enjoy your day and pick it up later); washing machine available for 4.50, have lunch with me if you want or alone in your room; all with a minimum respect for the place (I'm cool but you're not at mom's so please respect the tranquility of the place),... Remember that I live there too I am helpful and always attentive to special needs so do not hesitate to communicate Other things to note The neighborhood Recouvrance – Les Quatre Moulins Neighborhood on the right bank of the Penfeld, the river around which Brest has evolved. A popular neighborhood among sailors (in the glory days of the French Navy) and arsenal workers. A series of 10 frescoes decorate the facades of the buildings. Parks The garden of explorers; about 1 km away; offers stunning views of the entrance to Penfeld; the castle.... Created in 1634 within the maritime hospital for medicinal plants, it was called the royal garden. Plants brought back by explorers and botanists from their travels; you can see their names engraved on the plaques and benches in the garden The Kerbonne Garden, 400 m away, is a park that offers stunning views of the military port and the harbor. Les Ateliers des Capucins: 20 min walk, 1.1 km Former arsenal workshops have become a cultural and commercial place of 10,000 m2 where you can stroll, especially on rainy days... to laugh, dance, skate, share, read, brunch on Sunday (la Fabrik) or have lunch and go directly to the city center left bank in less than 3 minutes by cable car (1st urban cable car in France) and for only €1.60. Harbour view Rue de St Malo ("very close to the Capucins) 20 min walk The only street in Brest that was spared from the bombings of the last war Bucolic and timeless place, a pleasure to stroll there
