Description
Great room in this Modern Sparkling Duplex. If there's one thing you can count on in my home, it's a clean place to lay your head each night after exploring the city. Enjoy a private room within my duplex. Cook, hang out, relax and unwind. The room is for one person and great if you are looking for a place to study or focus on your work. The space One bedroom is available in my home. This is a fairly new building in Bushwick, located near the J train and several buses. It is available for short and long term rentals. For a long term rental, I am looking for someone clean and responsible, that knows the ins and outs of living on their own in the city as well as with roommates. I am an entertainment professional always on the go . First and foremost I would like someone who is open-minded, educated and well traveled- basically who is not rigid in life but always learning and changing. I would rather not have someone who "tolerates" the different people of the area, but embraces the judgement free home I have. The rundown: Central Air (Above the Trash Can) Washer/dryer in the apartment (available Sundays) Dishwasher in the apt. A giant bathtub if you ever want to swim in it (think Jacuzzi without jets). Courtyard and roof access I do not have pets and it's not an space suitable for them. Ground floor duplex on a private block 2 bedrooms on the main floor and the basement is a furnished live/work space for me. 420 or whatever else you do in the apartment occasionally is ok, but no cigarette smoking inside. My ideal guest for a long term rental is someone who is not fresh out of school, new to the city and branching out for the first time in their life. Someone who does not need hand holding. I am in and out quite often and would like someone who does not leave a big footprint. I would hope to hear from you so we can arrange things and get to know each other. If you're interested after hearing the basics, let me know. Artists, professionals, freelancers, and all other walks of life are welcome. Guest access Bedroom, living room/kitchen , main bathroom, back courtyard and rooftop. During your stay Moderately. With a significant turn around of guests, it makes it difficult to keep up with making time to connect socially with each guest. That means I am most likely not able to go out for dinner or an event. I would welcome a drink at the apartment or a cup of coffee out back. Other things to note I prefer longer stays with Med students and people here on school exchanges. It is not a deal breaker, I just give them priority if they are inquiring about my place at the same time. With a lot of shorter trips I have noticed an extreme increase in wear and tear on my place. I have replaced all of the bedding at least 5 times.
