A bright, comfortable double bedroom within our family home. 5 minutes walk from seafront, town and metro-link bus stop. Ideal for coastal walkers, surfers, golf. Driveway parking. Double bed in corner of room (not suitable >2 people), bureau and sofa. Tea and coffee making facilities. Private wet room with shower. No kitchen. Clothes rail in passageway. It’s on one level, has its own entrance, separate and private for sole use of guests. Sole use of enclosed front garden. Dog friendly. The space The space is suitable for short term lets only as it does not have kitchen facilities only a small fridge and kettle. You are welcome to eat in the front garden in nice weather and there are Coop, Aldi, Spa and One Stop supermarkets, bakeries, sandwich and salad bars, take-aways, pubs and restaurants all within a short walk. There is a bureau style desk (which doubles as a chest of drawers for clothes), a computer chair is available and a good WiFi signal so ideal for people travelling for work. Suitable for 2 adults or one adult plus one child. There isn’t room for a cot or additional bed in the bedroom and the 2 seater settee is not suitable for sleeping on. This means it’s not suitable for babies or toddlers sorry! The room is south facing and as such can be very pleasant on a sunny day. You are welcome to enjoy sole use of our front garden. One small well behaved, non-moulting, mature house trained dog is welcome and we can be flexible for other dogs too but not puppies (under a year old) or cats sorry. We respectfully request that you do not leave your dog unattended particularly if there is any risk of stress to the dog or if they could cause damage to the property. The room can also get hot in the summer which could affect your dog's health and wellbeing. The gates can be closed for your dog to use the front garden. Please note there is a low wall between our garden and our neighbour’s garden so although it is enclosed, your dog could jump over it. Many pubs and cafes are dog friendly and some beaches accessible for dogs all year round. Please search on 'dog friendly Porthcawl' for a current list, it is quite extensive. It’s best to check beforehand for up to date information if you want to take your dog to a particular establishment particularly if want to eat there. Guest access Our guests have sole access to a bedroom/sitting room and wet room with new shower. It is all on one level and other than a small step at the entrance, it should be accessible to people with limited mobility. The garden is also on one level with no steps at all. If you have particular requirements please let us know and we will try to accommodate. Other things to note There is access to our front garden and plenty of room to either sit outside the room or on the lawn. There is a table with 2 chairs for your sole use. There is a high hedge so it is fairly private and the street is quiet most of the time.The garden is south facing so is very pleasant on a sunny day. Garden chairs can be provided by request.
