Irati Barnean, igloos in the Irati Jungle

Discover the Irati Forest from the inside, connect with nature. Spend the night immersed in nature, away from urban areas, with panoramic views of the Aezkoa valley… an exclusive accommodation where you can listen, smell, touch, feel everything that the Irati Forest offers you. The last 2 kilometers of access to the igloos is an unpaved gravel track. It is in good access conditions so any vehicle, slowly, can go up to the Irati Barnean parking lot. The space Irati Barnean is not a hotel, nor an apartment, nor a hostel, nor a hostel, and therefore is not comparable to any of these types. Irati Barnean is more like what you can experience in a mountain refuge, but with all the comforts and a very careful design. It is an experience converted into accommodation where the main idea is that you feel, live, breathe nature in its purest form accompanied by silence and maximum relaxation. In the heart of the Irati Forest and totally away from urban areas, we have built 5 igloo-shaped rooms suspended on terraces from which you can enjoy magnificent views and everything that nature has to offer. Access to the igloos is via an unpaved gravel track with a steep slope, which has given us the opportunity to find the ideal place to experience total contact with nature. We work with renewable energy. For this reason, we ask our visitors to be responsible, making responsible use of the facilities, electricity and water so that together we can be more efficient and demonstrate that responsible tourism is possible, avoiding the use of high-consumption electrical appliances such as hair dryers and irons, electric razors... We try to interfere as little as possible during our visitors' stay, starting by not being there physically upon arrival and giving a code to access the rooms. This way we avoid altering first impressions and leave everyone free to live their own experience. However, we are in contact with everyone during the stay to be aware of and be able to resolve both their concerns and needs. We work before and after the arrival of our guests so that they feel like the protagonists of our project designed to live a "naturally" unforgettable experience Guest access There is parking next to the igloos but the road connecting the igloos is inaccessible by car. Other things to note Breakfast is included in the reservation and is left prepared in the fridge for the next day. If you are allergic to any food, lactose, gluten...please contact us so that we can adapt it. We need your contact information (email and phone) so that we can send you an email to check in online before your arrival and to send you the igloo opening code. All rooms have a coffee maker, microwave, and a small refrigerator.
