Beautiful, bright, spacious and newly renovated apartment on the third floor of a very peaceful apartment building in the beautiful West-town of Reykjavík. 2 min walk to Vestubæjarlaug swimming pool, Brauð & co bakery, great coffee shop (Kaffihús Vesturbæjar) and the local store Melabúðin. 5-10 min walk to Ægissíða shoreline and 15 min walk to grandinn harbour and downtown city center. Perfect place for a couple with a young child looking for a peaceful stay in Reykjavík. 80 square meter flat on the third floor of a clean and quiet apartment building. No elevator in the building. Balcony on south side of apartment with a stunning view of the sunset. One spacious master bedroom with a large and comfy bed and plenty of closet space. One children bedroom. Large open kitchen/living room area where you can relax and enjoy life. Comfortable tub in the bathroom where you can wind down after a busy day. The apartment is very cozy and bright with plenty of plants and decorations to make you feel truly at home. I will not be in Reykjavik while you visit but I am always available by phone or email :-) The most popular family neighbourhood in Reykjavik, very near the town central but far away enough for absolout peace and quiet. With in 5 min walking distance are for example a pizza place, flower shop, swimming pool, burger joint, local shop, café restaurant, bakery and more. The amazing Ægissíða is very near by and from there you have a glorious mountain view (including an active volcano). The bus to city center stops right out side of the house. Bus stop right outside of the apartment building. Also it’s very easy to park just outside of the house.
