Tangleha Coastal Hamlet

We offer an eco self-contained apartment in the ground floor of our house directly by the sea side. The rooms offer a clean,quiet space to relax with a living room as well as a kitchen corner for self-catering. The radiator heat is produced through our wood boiler as well as through two stoves. The rocket stove stores its heat in a cob bench which makes it a cosy hangout space.The wood is sourced locally and sustainably. Electricity is sourced from our solar panels and renewable energy. The space We are a family living in the first and second floor of the house. We have a garden which you are welcome to enjoy, relax and listen to the waves. The beach is 50 m away from the house and at low tide there are lots of rock pools to be discovered. There is a coastal path leading to the fishing village Johnshaven, which is a 45 min walk. We are currently setting up an orchard and vegetable field next to the house which you are welcome to explore. Guest access The self-contained apartment contains a kitchenette with a kettle, toaster, hob and fridge. Guests can use the washing machine. Other things to note In case you are allergic, we have two cats and eight chickens and we handle nuts in the kitchen.
