Description
Butterfly Cottage is a light and airy two bedroomed terraced property built in 1754, with a shared back garden and on street parking. The cottage is within a ten minute walk from Frome town centre where there’s lots of restaurants, bars and independent shops; there are also pleasant country side walks the other way (to both the village of Mells or to Buckland Dinham ( both about 3miles). Frome is a historic market town with lots going on and it is close to Longleat and Bath. The space The house is open plan downstairs combining lounge and dining room; with a well equipped separate kitchen at the back. The lounge has two comfy sofas; and the dining table seats six. There is an office desk in the alcove under the stairs. The back garden has a table and chairs which you’re welcome to use; it is a shared area so you may meet the neighbours out there! There are open tread stairs to the first floor where there are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a 5 foot wide bed and the twin room has single beds. The family bathroom has a corner bath with a shower over it although there is also a hand shower if you’d prefer. If you are bringing young children with you, we can help with equipment such as cot or high chair, if you could let us know then we can set these up for you. The property is five minutes walk from the local shops , which include a co-op, takeaways and a bakery. Guest access Guest have access to the whole of the house and the garden is shared. Parking is in public space on the street. Other things to note Being an old cottage, the head height when descending the stairs is less than you may hope, so watch your head! Also the front door opens onto the road where there is no pavement, so please keep the door locked especially if you have children and take care when leaving.
