Crater Lake "Bunkhouse" on 100 acre ranch & trails

The private Ranch "BunkHouse" sits on a meadow near the country barn w/ views of valley, mountains, & access to gorgeous woodsy hiking trails. The "BunkHouse" retains the rustic charm of the original Bunkhouse but inside it enjoys new comfort, style & amenities! It's an up-dated large (20X40) open studio/bedrm w/ kitchenette & private bath (clawfoot shower/tub). A king-sized bed & extra twin bed if you have a 3rd traveling w/you, all in one room. Also, TV and WiFi The space Our ranch is located 2 1/2 miles (west) outside of the little town of Prospect, near the Rogue River, Lost Creek Lake, and a couple of miles from the beautiful Barr Creek, Mill Creek and Pearsony Falls, and 28 miles to the Crater Lake National Park south entrance. It's on the beautiful scenic side of Crater Lake National Park along the Rogue-Umpqua Scenic Byway. The Bunkhouse is a tranquil and comfy retreat after a day of Southern Oregon recreation. Perfect for solos, couples or with a plus one. A great getaway for work or tranquil relaxation. Also on the ranch is the horse barn, owner's home, a vacation rental house, and out-buildings, 2 large ponds, and loads of trails (100 acres plus) to explore and wildlife to view. Guest access A private structure w/bedroom, kitchenette, roomy seating area, and bathroom plus a meadow to sit in just outside the BunkHouse deck enjoying the view with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. You'll also find a propane fire pit and a wide open sky for star gazing. Guests can access 100 acres of trails on the ranch. Other things to note The small kitchenette is suited for brief stays with a small under-the-counter refrigerator (limited refrigerator space), a full oven/range, sink, coffee maker, small microwave, toaster, and blender. No dishwasher... but a dish drainer, soap, and dish cloth is provided for washing dishes. Basic pots and pans are available as are serving dishes and utensils, and basic seasonings. It does well for simple breakfasts, lunch, or basic simple meals. The little nearby town of Prospect has a small country store and gasoline station, open 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. There is also a Pizza Parlor, an Historic hotel for dining, and a country cafe. The ranch meadow hosts deer, elk, wild turkeys, a resident bobcat and great horned owl. It's a fun view to enjoy from the meadow chairs just outside the BunkHouse.
