Immersed in nature in a rural setting, away from the chaos and only 20 minutes from Laveno Mombello on Lake Maggiore, you can find peace and contact with animals and rural traditions at the Capre e Cavoli agriturismo, where a newly renovated independent apartment of about 40 square meters is available for guests, with an equipped kitchen, oven, fridge, dishwasher, large windows with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains, solid larch floor and wood-burning stove. The space The apartment is on the ground floor, under our home and next to the milk processing laboratory. In fact, the Capre e Cavoli farm has been breeding chamois goats from the Alps since 2002 and produces fresh and aged raw milk cheeses. While guaranteeing their privacy, guests will therefore find themselves in a rural setting and, if they wish, they can also observe the different stages of agricultural activity or, with just two steps, find themselves in the middle of the woods. During the summer, there is also an outdoor space with a table and chairs for moments of open-air relaxation. From March to October, guests can also choose to have breakfast by coming to the barn to have the milk directly milked in the cup or buy our dairy products at the store adjacent to the apartment. Guests who want to prepare food in the kitchen available to them in the apartment should keep in mind that apart from our products described above, the nearest grocery stores and supermarkets are located in Cittiglio (7 km away/15 minutes). By choice, the apartment does not have a television, but there is a selection of books, board games and the possibility to consult guides, maps, brochures to find out about the main tourist attractions nearby. Free Wi-Fi is available. Guest access The apartment has independent access and guests will be provided with keys. In the last 500 m that lead to the company there is a dirt road but easily accessible by all cars at moderate speed. Parking will be available to guests on the premises. Other things to note Both in the management of the house and the farm we are very attentive to the environment, we have built the buildings with solutions suitable for energy saving (coat, low-emission double glazing, etc.), we have hot water from solar thermal and we heat with high-performance wood stoves and local wood.
