Description: This is a guesthouse set inside a bigger compound. However, it is fenced off and has its exclusive gate to enter from the road. Lots of greenery abounds inside the compound with lawns, trees, vegetable garden and covered parking. This room is on the first floor of a 2 storeyed beautiful Kerala style exposed brickwork house. The room comes with a wardrobe and dresser, and has a modern attached bathroom. The first floor area includes a mini hall with a work-desk and a covered balcony overlooking the lawns. Plus, the floors are laid with the traditional handmade patterned Athangudi tiles from Tamil Nadu's Chettinad region. The hot water in the taps come from our rooftop solar water heater. There is air conditioning in bedroom ,In fact, you will be staying in an award winning eco-friendly dwelling :) In pursuit of eco-friendly living, we do not provide toilet paper. We also encourage our guests to bring their own toiletries. Guest access Guests have an exclusive gate to enter from, and the guesthouse is fenced off from the main compound, ensuring their privacy. The balcony on the first floor and the hall on the ground floor with dining table, TV, Fridge and the kitchenette are common spaces and facilities which are accessible to guests in both the bed rooms. Guests can access the lawn in front of the Guesthouse, and take in the view of the whole outdoor area from there and the first floor balcony. If they have their own vehicle, they can be parked inside the main compound as well, provided the vehicle is parked inside by 9 pm. Other things to note 1. UNMARRIED COUPLES NOT ALLOWED 2. As part of eco-friendly living, we do NOT provide "toilet paper"here .However, we do provide towels and bedsheets as part of Essentials listed in the amenities. 3. After reaching Coimbatore, please call to get directions before you start to my place. 4. Please inform if you have a driver with you. You will have to book an extra bed for him to stay as our place is not set up to host drivers (i.e. no extra bed/ outside bathrooms etc). Otherwise, he/she has to stay in the vehicle itself. 5. We appreciate waste segregation by our guests :) 6. Sanitary pads are to be disposed in dustbins and are NOT to be flushed away in toilets. Please comply to avoid clogging drains. Thanks in advance :) 7. parking inside the compound is possible only before 9pm. NOTE: This is a HOME and NOT A HOTEL. Please read the listing description carefully so that you know exactly what to expect. If you are expecting a hotel like facility/ experience with 24 hours service, it may not be possible and we highly recommend that you book a hotel room.
