Has four big bedrooms, a living/dining room, three full bathrooms, two fully equipped kitchens & a terrace. Hosts up to 14 persons in 8 super king and queen beds, has two entrances, as we combined two next door units. Right next to St. Stephen's Basilica in the most central 5th district, you can discover the city even just on foot & we will make sure you get the best out of your time while in Budapest. There are plenty of restaurants cafes around to eat or drink or just have a coffee, the building downstairs has a 24H grocery store and a bakery which provides breakfast also on ARANY JÁNOS UTCA, just a little down towards the Danube you have the Espresso Embassy with probably the best coffee in town. We made sure that the apartment is big enough 120 square meters for everyone, it has a brand new beautiful oak parquet, the walls are covered with amazing wallpapers and there is plenty of art work and incredible maps and decorations throughout the Residence, you will be amazed how many interesting details you can discover in this unique property. The apartment has amazing views of the city's skyline as it is on a higher floor and as it has a nice balcony you can have your morning coffee at the terrace of the apartment enjoying the sunrise the clouds and beautiful Budapest. Of course all the necessary bedding are free of charge (fresh sheets, blankets, pillows, towels as many as you like). We provide coffee, tea, sugar in the kitchen and of course you can cook your meals as the kitchen is fully equipped. It’s on the 3rd floor but there is a newly refurbished elevator in the building. Guest access BUDAPESTING's Basilica Residence Apartment has 4 bedrooms, 2 fully equipped kitchens, 2 dining rooms and 3 full bathrooms, it has an amazig terrace with a beautiful view and the apartment is located within walking distance to all the sights. You will have your own digital codes to enter the apartment, so you can lock it yourself. The apartment has the fastest available wireless internet (500 Mbs) and the 2 kitchens are fully equipped, even with 2 washing machines (of course we will have washing powder, softener etc for you), there will be tea, coffee, sugar for free for you in the apartment and you can cook if you wish as all the equipment will be there for you with the possibility to store your food in the fridge. There is hairdryer, iron and ironing board in the apartment of course, as well as hangers. There are 3 areas which function as living rooms and you can have a sit or relax, even if its a bigger group. The apartment has CO and smoke detectors which send us online notifications in case of any problems. All the bedrooms are equipped with electric blinds, so the rooms can be made completely dark if needed. Every bedroom has air conditioning which is handy in Budapest during the Summer months. We will provide you everything you might need during your stay and a little surprise ill be waiting for you upon arrival in the apartment! Other things to note ARRIVAL: check in is from 15.00, if earlier check in has been requested & we can manage, we will notify you, please make sure you come to the apartment at the previously agreed check in time, so as soon as you can from, as we have to welcome you in person and do the registration EXCHANGE: do not exchange money at a bank or at the airport, at the railway station or bus station also, it is a lot better to exchange money in the city center at exchange offices, you can ask the member of the Budapesting team upon arrival for the exchange office with the best rates, one EUR is about 400 HUF, you should at least get 390 HUF for 1 EUR ATM & CARD USAGE: if you decide to withdraw money from a bank machine, then make sure to use one of the official bank's ATM (OTP, ERSTE, K&H, etc.). Avoid using the EURONET and similar bankomats, even though often they are the most convenient as they are everywhere in the city, they charge you a lot more than an normal bank's ATM & also they use a worse rate for exchanging foreign currency, if you pay by card or withdraw cash and the machine asks you to charge your card in your currency or Hungarian Forints, then always choose the Hungarian money, as you will end up paying less TRANSPORT: we don't recommend to buy the Budapest Card, it is better to buy separate tickets (one ticket is one ride, not valid for more rides - single ticket - 500 HUF / 24H / 1 day pass - 2750 HUF / 72 H / three days - 5740 HUF), we don't recommend you to use the "Hop-on hop-off" tour buses, Budapest has an excellent public transport system and from our apartments you can also walk to all the sights and places of interest, with taxis, always fix the price before departing, so you will not get overcharged, BOLT/UBER is a good application to use for taxis as well PARKING: if you are arriving by car, make sure to park near the apartment on a marked, right place, where its allowed to park and put immediately money to the parking meter (HUF coins) or start PARKL, during check in we will explain you the parking options, in the center for about 20-30 EUR / day you can park in underground garages RESTAURANTS: we can give you a lot of good recommendations for restaurantsand bars upon arrival, feel free to ask the member of the Budapesting team, who will be there or me here on AirBnB for advice. Budapest has excellent value for money in restaurants if you know where to go Make sure to know what is happening in the city while you are there, we can help with that! It is important to know that it is a residential building with locals living next door. So the apartment is not for events or parties. Our most important rule is to respect the neighbors and to not to make any noise in the apartment, which can be heard outside and disturb the neighbors. Also smoking is strictly forbidden inside the apartment and in the building itself, in case someone smokes from the group inside the apartment or the building it means breaking the house rules and could cause cancelation of the reservation.
