There is a queen-size bed fit for a king There is a small galley kitchen with microwave, gas stove, small refrigerator, and basic equipment for light food preparation (after all, you didn’t come to the magnificent north coast to spend time in the kitchen cooking). There is a gas barbeque on your deck for your personal use. There is a full bath. The living area has a full-sized couch which makes into a bed, and a window seat suitable for a child (or an adult who wants to feel like a child). A propane fireplace provides heat and plenty of cozy without tending a fire. Internet is available and reliable. Everything you need for your "simple pleasures” getaway is provided or can be requested. We are conveniently situated a short distance from the seashore just beyond the usual fog line. Downtown Fort Bragg is five minutes away. Come stay with us and let the wonders of the wild north coast soothe and move you, and you will want to return again and again. Guest access Three acres of redwood forest trail surrounds your cottage and the main house and garden area. You can visit the chickens and miniature goats in the vegetable garden (and help yourself to "freshly picked" in season). Summer evenings there is a cozy campfire in the center courtyard, for your personal use, where you can pretend you are camping with s'mores the way you like them, and then go snuggle in your comfy bed. Other things to note There is a gate blocking access to the property. We do need to keep it closed except for entering and leaving to keep chicks, goats, and pugs in and deer and things that eat chicks, goats, and pugs (and gardens) out. You will be asked to always stop and make sure the gate is closed when you pass through.
