Quiet location, you only hear the sea Bus: 100 m walking distance (not within earshot :) The space Our house has two terraces (wooden terrace 30 sqm, with large awning, and a planted roof terrace with 60 sqm, barbecue (please be careful with the straw roof and leave it reasonably clean), hammock, outdoor shower, washing machine), both with sun loungers and high-quality garden furniture. In addition, an unobstructed panoramic view of the bay of Punta de Hidalgo/Bajamar in good weather to the Teide and La Palma; directly behind the house begins the Anaga mountains. It has two floors on a total area of 150 square meters. There is a bedroom with a double bed and window to the sea, a bedroom with a single bed and window to the sea, each with a large closet, as well as in the basement an open, loft-like bedroom with a double bed, which, however, has no door but curtains, but has sea views. The house has been simply but tastefully renovated, fully equipped kitchen (gas stove, no dishwasher), the two bathrooms (both with toilet and shower) one completely new, the other simply, clean and functionally renovated. The spacious beautiful solid wooden table in front of a continuous window front with sea view should provide pleasant meals if it rains or gets too hot. The house is situated in a small cul-de-sac. You should park the car either at the top of the street (about 100 m, small stairs) or at the bottom of the street (about 250 m). Unfortunately, there is no parking space at the house. It has an alarm system and Wi-Fi, but deliberately only has Internet reception and no cable/satellite, but SmartTV. Small supermarket, sea swimming pool and starting point for great hikes within walking distance, bus stop to La Laguna (and from there connection to the rest of the island) also within walking distance (100 m). Punta de Hidalgo is an insider tip in the north of Tenerife, far from the tourist flow and popular with locals, with some small restaurants. In short: nature lovers, friends of the sea and the sun and individualists will love this house. Perfectionists and modern comfort people rather not. No smoking house No rental to surfers due to bad experiences and problems with local surfers ("locals"). This only applies to surfing tourists, otherwise the people here are extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. Guest access Everything is open to you, including numerous spices, because who wants to season only with salt and pepper on vacation? Other things to note Attention, our guests have already had several problems in the water with local surfers. Unfortunately, some of our neighbors belong to this local group. Please take care of yourself; such problems are not known from other Canary Islands, especially Fuerteventura. Unfortunately, they are quite common and very unpleasant here, from vandalism to bodily harm. This only applies to surfing tourists, otherwise the people here are extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. We don't rent to surfers. Although Punta (except for surf localism) is really a nice and safe place in itself, one must not forget that one is in the south of Spain. Therefore, it is better to lock the house and terrace doors when leaving the house and at night, but that is actually self-evident.
